Determining the Burning Rate of Fine-Grained Propellants in Closed Vessel Tests

چکیده
This paper presents the method of determining burning rate fine-grained propellants based on results closed vessel tests. It is shown that in case propellants, standard methods fail. There are two reasons for this: imperfections grain shapes and prolonged process ignition due to a more developed surface than coarse grains at same mass propellant. The value exponent law estimated by use so-called experimental form–function. upper lower limits coefficient estimated. accuracy proposed analyzed. Its validity assessed comparing tests analysis with accessible literature data.
